Data Engineering and Information Management (DEIM) workshop in 2010 will take place at Awaji Yumebutai International Conference Center on 28 February - 2 March 2010.
Various topics of researches related to data engineering and information management will be discussed in the workshop.

Data Engineering and Information Management (DEIM2009)

DEIM workshop previously known as Data Engineering Workshop (DEWS) will be held at Yamaha Resort Tsumagoi hotel in Shizuoka on 8 - 10 March 2009. Research papers and posters related to data engineering and information management areas are welcomed to submit. Some important dates are as follows:

  1. 9 January 2009, submission of an extended abstract (4 pages)
  2. Beginning to middle of February 2009, submission of a paper

A Special Gift from iiWAS2008

A conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications and Services (iiWAS), my first international conference was held in Linz, Austria on November 24 - 26, 2008. It was a very fascinating event where students, researchers and lecturers/professors from 37 countries were gathered in scientific presentations, workshops, and tutorials. Also, the committee invited all participants to such a marvelous dinner on a “KRISTALLSCHIFF” cruise traversing on Danube river from Linz to the border of Germany. Well, there was a special memorable gift from the conference for me. Please, find it out next!

International Database Workshop (iDB 2008)

The annual summer database workshop of Japan is renamed to international database workshop (iDB) starting from this year to cope with international database communities. The iDB 2008 will be held in Fukushima on September 21-23, 2008.
Important dates are outlined as follows:

  • Abstract submission: July 25, 2008
  • Full paper and poster submission: August 22, 2008
